Before placing any order we must insist you read and understand our Sizing Guidelines, our Shipping Info and FAQ to ensure your item will arrive to you as promptly as possible. Please also make sure you understand the current hallmarking legislation regarding your order.
Pricing
All prices on the this website are in GBP. For customers purchasing outside the UK the final price will be calculated by your card issuer in accordance with the applicable exchange rate at the time of processing your transaction.
Please note that prices listed on the site or in any printed publications are correct at the time of publication and we reserve the right to amend these without prior notification.
Ordering
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
When placing an order you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.
When you place your order over the website we will send a confirmation email which will detail the products ordered, payment method, and cost (including VAT and P&P if applicable). You must check that all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.
Please note that your order constitutes only an offer to purchase goods from us, and does not form a binding contract until accepted by us. No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Maru Jewellery until we accept your order by despatching the product(s) to you, notwithstanding that we may have sent an email confirmation.
We reserve the right not to accept any order at our sole discretion. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising from not accepting your order and we shall have no liability to you by way of compensation other than to refund the amount paid for the goods in question.
If your order has not been accepted, we will contact you to advise the reason why.
Shipping
Estimated shipping times are as stated in our Shipping Info. We are not responsible for any delays which occur whilst your goods are in transit with courier.
In the case of a missing or delayed parcel, we will attempt to locate the parcel in accordance with the procedures set out under the Shipping Info. In the event that we are unable to locate your parcel, replacements will be sent.
When ordering from Marujewellery.co.uk you are responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination.
Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import fees, import taxes, customs brokerage fees, sales taxes and other fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient. Maru Jewellery is not responsible for any fees charged on delivery, any delays related to this or seizures of goods due to regulations in the destination country.

Most international delivery destinations have the option of choosing between Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed or DHL Express Standard. By choosing Royal Mail as the courier for international deliveries you are acknowledging that you have ensured that the national postal service in the destination country do not impose restrictions on the delivery of jewellery from United Kingdom as set out by the Universal Postal Union. Maru Jewellery cannot be held responsible for any non-delivery or delays due to such restrictions. If shipments to your country require special considerations you must contact us before placing an order.
Sizing
We will make items to the specified size and style requested.
If you are unsure of your size, we suggest you consult a reputable jeweller and have your size measured.
If the event you have ordered the wrong size and the ring in question can be re-sized, we will do so for a fee plus shipping. Please get in touch with us immediately if you discover upon delivery that the ring is too big or small.
Cancellations
Where applicable you can cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.
All gold products require specially ordered materials on an order-by-order basis and should be considered custom made. Due to this any gold orders must be cancelled within 24 hours after ordering.
To cancel your order prior to despatch we advise that you contact us as soon as possible after ordering.
For orders cancelled after dispatch you must follow our returns procedure. You are responsible for any return postage costs.
Returns
All our items are handmade-to-order.
With the exception of gold items and custom orders, you may return your order for a refund within 30 days of receipt, provided the goods are returned in a perfect condition.

Note that due of the nature of certain items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we cannot accept returns for:
- custom or personalised items
- earrings, for hygiene reasons.
We also do not accept returns for gold items, as these are made from specially ordered materials on an order-by-order basis and should be considered custom made.
Once you decide to return the goods you must not use them and must take reasonable care of them while they remain in your possession. The goods must be returned to us intact and undamaged as soon as reasonably possible, and within 30 days. Items that are returned with any evidence of wear will not be accepted.
It is your responsibility to pay the postage costs for any items returned to us. We advise that you use a recorded method of carriage for returning your goods. We are not responsible for items lost or delayed on their way back to us. In the event of a lost parcel, you as the sender are responsible for processing a claim with the delivery company.
In the case of faulty goods, or goods which have been sent incorrectly, we will refund your reasonable return postage costs. International customs charges, duties, sales taxes or other fees are non-refundable.
Refunds
All refunds will be processed via your original method of payment for the price of the goods, excluding any potential shipping costs.
Please allow 7 working days for your refund to be processed.
